By using kundali.live (the "Service"), operated by ArthIQ Labs LLC, a limited liability company organized in the State of Illinois, United States ("ArthIQ", "we", "us"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What the Service is, and what it isn't

kundali.live offers Vedic astrology (Jyotish) conversations and panchang information for reflection, education and entertainment. It is not professional advice of any kind, medical, psychological, legal, financial or relationship, and should not be relied on as such. Use your own judgement and consult qualified professionals for important decisions.

If you are in distress or crisis, please contact local emergency services or a helpline. The Service is not a substitute for professional help.

How answers are composed

The astrology in every answer is computed, not guessed. A deterministic engine calculates planetary positions, dashas, yogas and house strengths from the birth details you give it, and its sky positions are validated against published ephemeris data. That part involves no artificial intelligence.

The wording of most answers is a different matter. For most questions an AI language model turns the engine's computed facts and the relevant classical citations into readable prose. We have built reasonable checks around this, and it can still phrase something imprecisely, attribute an idea to the wrong source, connect points the sources do not connect, or state something the computation does not support. We cannot guarantee that every sentence of an answer is free of such errors. A minority of questions are answered from fixed templates with no language model involved, and a small model may summarise a long conversation to keep its context.

Citations shown with an answer identify the classical passages the engine supplied for your chart. They are the material the answer drew on, not a sentence-by-sentence verification of everything it says.

Treat answers as a starting point for reflection rather than as established fact. If one looks wrong, tell us through the feedback box on your account page.

Eligibility: not for children

The Service is intended only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use kundali.live. The Service is not directed to, designed for, or marketed to children, and we do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to use it or knowingly collect their information. If you are under 18, do not use the Service. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will close the account and delete the associated data.

Your account

Sign-in is via Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure.

Free usage and wallet

Signed-in users receive a number of free questions each calendar month. Beyond that, additional questions are drawn from your prepaid wallet at the price shown in the app. Top-ups are processed by Stripe. Top-ups are final: unused wallet balance is non-refundable, though it does not expire. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@kundali.live.

Free questions, trial periods and any other complimentary access are a promotion, not a purchased entitlement. We may change, reduce, suspend or withdraw them at any time and at our sole discretion, in whole or in part, for all users or for an individual account, with or without notice, and without any obligation to offer a replacement, credit or refund. The allowance in effect is whatever the app states at the time you ask a question; the amounts named elsewhere are descriptive, not a promise of future terms. Nothing in this section affects wallet balance you have already paid for, which remains yours to spend at the price it was bought at.

Referral credit

Members may be given a referral code to share. When a new account registers using that code, we may credit complimentary question turns to both the new account and the member who referred them, in the amounts and up to the limits the Service states at the time.

Referral credit is complimentary access, not a purchase. It is denominated in question turns, has no cash value, and is not redeemable for money, refundable, exchangeable or transferable. It may be spent only on questions within the Service, and does not confer access to features that require a paid top-up. It is a promotion within the meaning of the section above, and everything stated there about changing, reducing, suspending or withdrawing complimentary access applies to it.

We may decline, withhold, reverse or revoke referral credit, and suspend or close the accounts involved, where we reasonably believe the programme is being misused. That includes creating or controlling multiple accounts to claim credit, registering accounts on behalf of other people, using automation or false information to register, and any other circumvention of the eligibility rules or limits. Where credit has already been spent, we may reduce your remaining balance or allowance accordingly.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service unlawfully or to harm others.
• Do not attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, overload or disrupt the Service.
• Do not resell, redistribute or misrepresent the Service.

Intellectual property

The Service, its design and software are owned by ArthIQ Labs LLC. The underlying classical texts are part of the public Jyotish canon; readings are produced by our KundaliMCP engine, with answer prose composed as described under "How answers are composed" above.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. Astrological interpretations are inherently subjective and not scientifically established. Answers may be composed in part by artificial-intelligence systems, as described under "How answers are composed" above, and may contain errors, including statements not supported by the engine's computation or by the cited sources.

Jyotish is an interpretive tradition rather than an exact science. Two experienced practitioners can read the same chart differently and both be working faithfully within the canon: schools differ, and so do editions and commentaries. Every chart here is read in the Parashari school, with one ayanamsa and one house system. Those are choices. A practitioner who works from others will get different positions and sometimes different conclusions, and neither reading is wrong for that reason.

We have taken reasonable steps to keep the computation faithful to classical method and to show what each reading rests on. We do not guarantee that it is accurate. Software has defects, ours included: a rule can be misapplied, a boundary mis-set, a figure on screen can disagree with the number behind it. kundali.live is beta software and is offered on that basis. If something looks wrong, tell us and we will look at it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArthIQ Labs LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD $100).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ArthIQ Labs LLC and its members, officers and agents from any claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of another.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Dispute resolution: arbitration and waivers

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, seated in Lake County, Illinois, rather than in court, except that either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and ArthIQ each waive the right to a trial by jury and agree that disputes will be brought only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative proceeding. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable, the arbitration provision shall not apply and the dispute will proceed in the state and federal courts located in Lake County, Illinois. If you are outside the United States, mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence still apply where the law so requires.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the Service, and may suspend or terminate access for violations. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Miscellaneous

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and ArthIQ regarding the Service. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
